About
Our History
In 1999, Scott and Lynn Pellett began a journey from their home that would change lives. Starting from a closet, they founded Bike-On, driven by a passion for making cycling accessible to everyone. In 2001, Scott's encounters with adaptive cyclists during the NYC Marathon sparked collaborations with friends Charlie Croteau and Bob Hicks, leading to innovations like the C5 handgrips. By 2004, with Andy Barker’s help, they pioneered the first Quad-Enabling handcycle. Despite the tragic loss of Andy in 2010, the team remained dedicated to their mission.
A Family Owned Business
As the business grew, so did their family’s involvement. Chris Coyne, Dan Pellett, and Kyle Printer joined the team, bringing expertise that fueled expansions in 2012 and 2015. In 2021, Scott and Lynn passed the torch to the next generation, with Dan, and Chris taking the lead.
Today, Bike-On stands strong as a family business, continuing its legacy of innovation and inclusivity. With a committed team and a heart for helping others, the future is bright for Bike-On and its mission to make cycling accessible to all.
